I'm not at all surprised that these guys are complaining about getting repeatedly beat into the ground racing in Houston. We have our share of ricers and idiots like everywhere else, but we also have a pretty large number of very powerful cars on the roads here, and drivers with the balls to run them. It's hard for me to go more than a day or two without running into some crazy fast machine on the roads here daily driving (and when I say "crazy fast", I mean the kind of car where you know just from the cruising exhaust note that the guy is pushing 500+ hp to the rear wheels). It quickly puts "reasonable" cars like mine in perspective
