Default VIN JN1AZ44E39M401249 - Be Aware

Hello,

Went for a test drive at Germain Nissan in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, April 4th, and was greeted at the door by the salesman I had scheduled the test drive with.

He explained that he was sorry but the car we were supposed to drive was in their lot the night before with the window open (someone forgot it), and it had rained and gotten most of the left-side interior soaking wet. I asked to see the car and he wasn't kidding, "soaking" was the right term. I ended up driving it sitting on a plastic seat cover, those used by shops so that mechanics won't get the seat dirty. I didn't slide around nearly as much as I thought I would, mainly due to the slight bucket design of the seat.

Thinking about myself (in the future), this board, and everyone else, I went back yesterday to get the VIN number to post here. To be fair to the dealer, there was a couple looking at the car, and they told them the truth about the water. The interior had been dried and I couldn't find a wet spot again, but who knows what kind of short- and long-term damage that may cause.

Anyways, the VIN is JN1AZ44E39M401249, she's blue, sport and touring packages, and I figured I should post this warning here.
