Seatbelt guide on drivers side came off
After cruising Mullholland tonight in my Z, I pulled in to a gas station to say goodbye to a friend who was cruising along with me in his 350. When I unfastened my seat belt, I heard a clunk sound. I look over and see the seat belt guide dangling, not connected to the interior of the car anymore. I tried putting the bolt sticking out of the guide back through the slot it came out of but nothing would grab it. It looks like there is supposed to be a nut on the other side of the plate that the bolt goes through to hold it in place. Has this happened to anyone on the board? I just picked up the Z on Tuesday and have less than 350 miles on it. I'm pretty upset about this happening on a brand new 40k vehicle. Is this a serious enough issue to be issued a rental car while they fix it? It looks like they will ahve to remove the interior panels to get to the other side of the plate to put the bolt back on. Anybody have a similar experience?
