The Z is fine to learn on. You just need to decide if a manual is what you want.

The 7AT is a sick transmission... it's probably the best automatic at this price range. It's consistently quicker than the manual transmission Zs.

The 6MT is an OK transmission. It's solid but it's very, very finicky and tempermental. The Tremec 5 and 6 speeds that I am used to driving are far better than this one. SRM is definitely helpful for a novice.
