I have the same low profile jack and I made a little ramp out of 4*8 so I can fit the jack under the car. If you bought the jack stands from harbor freight you can get jack stand pads from them and rest the jack stands on the pinch rails.

Well, I got a nismo. If I get ramps, I would have to use boards as pre-ramps. Also, I wouldn't feel too comfortable driving a manual shift car onto ramps.
But good advice though.
