An Alpha 4 metallic substrate will outperform a ceramic substrate. Foul a plug and watch a ceramic core begin to melt. A lower cost metallic substrate will tend to form shards and destruct. That's why I asked about the aluminized steel. More specifically it would be an Aluminized 409 Stainless.
