Look at it this way. Cavs nearly took out the Celtics 2 years ago when it was basically KJ playing a one man army. It came down to the final minute...that's just how dominant he is. I mean just about everyone on his team seriously sucked not to mention the team he carried to the finals the previous year.

Anyone that doesn't see/agree with that is simply a hater(Phelan - self-proclaimed of course) bc the truth hurts...especially to LA fans bc Kobe was the poster child all these years and Lebron is clearly better/more dominant now.

If you look at Lebron's squad now... it's a little terrifying bc of how good they are and I'm not just talking about their starters....their bench included. Lebron went from having no one to having everyone. Gone are the matchup problems of last year...Cavs can go ultra small or ultra big....kinda crazy huh?

LA has an easy road to the finals now that the Thunder are gone. Everyone else they know how to play and no one is big enough to compete with them(since Denver is out). The Thunder were the wildcard group and a great one at that.

As long as Bynum is healthy....there is only one team that can matchup and compete with LA and that is the Cavs. You saw it in the regular season. Most of LA's points are Gasol and Bynum in the paint. Counter that with Ilgauskas and Shaq who are both bigger respectively and all of a sudden their points go away and now the back court is forced to score. Lebron neutralizes Kobe and vice versa........so it come down to the better bench/role players. Advantage - Cavs

Actual advantage - David Stern for setting it up so that we can finally have the long awaited Kobe vs Lebron. And yes I agree that Lebron will make it to the finals this year, not just bc he is soo dominant but bc he'll also have some help from the refs.....just like Kobe did/does. In the end it's a business where millions and millions of dollars are at stake everyday so the game is obviously catered to the public to some degree.....kinda sad but definitely true.
