My wife has an '08 Altima with nav and we couldn't get it to work. However, I used to have a 2007 Audi A4 and it was able to download my entire iPhone phonebook. Unfortunately my Z doesn't have nav so I can't comment there. Based on my Audi experience, the iPhone is capable but the Nissan nav appears to not play 'nice' with it.
