In fairness, it's not their fault. Canada has some harsh rules when it comes to sweepstakes, and each province is different.

One of them requires you to pay a 10 or 15% fee (I forget) for the value of the prize.. along with a bunch of other hurdles.

Sometimes it unfortunately just doesn't make sense for the company putting it on.

EDIT: Oh I forgot.. in the US it has to be a complete "lottery" style.. it can't be a "game of chance".. everyone that enters has to have a fair chance of winning. In Canada, it's the opposite.. you HAVE to have some sort of qualifying question, even if it's a simple math question or something, it can't just be equal. I may be missing some details, but the structure of what's mandatory is opposite between US and Canada. Makes it hard.
