It's been proven that having an easy to use interface is mandatory in a tablet or touchscreen phone. Period.

Try running Windows Vista on a PC, then wipe the HD, and install Ubuntu Linux on it. Guess which machine will seem faster? At the same MHz speed...
I own the iPad and I will tell you it is way FASTER than my old PC laptop running a 1.2GHz PIII Mobile CPU and Windows 7.

Totally! Comparing GHz is like comparing megapixels. Numbers really do not matter. Its the features that the CPU takes advantage of. Hyperthreading, turbo boosting, multi cores, size of the die, and how efficient. The whole package is what matters not the speed of the processor.
