There was a time that I would have done a brake check, or some other obnoxious thing, but when I was in a traffic ticket school one time, the teacher said that you think you are proving a point or teaching them a lesson, but nothing good ever comes of it, and I took it to heart. Now I just get out of the way.
However, I drive fast enough, that people don't really ever tailgate me.
