That is absolutely true. I've had mine a week and have scraped the small plastic air deflectors in front of the front tires at least a dozen times. Driveways, speed humps, and in a couple cases just dips in the road are enough to do it. Good thing they are separate pieces that shouldn't cost much to replace.
