As far as heritage goes, I think Nissan screwed the pooch with the 300, dont get me wrong, a TT V6 from the factory is a nice touch, but the overhaul of the design from the original Z cars really put me off, as well as the 40k+ price tag.

I used to have a 300ZX. Loved that car. Nissan was ahead of most of the pack with that design, IMHO. I still waved at everybody.

Could it be that the 370 is still new enough that a lot of people don't want to put that coin down on a car until they get to know it better? Possibly.

OK, back ON TOPIC. I tend not to wave at the 350z drivers in this area because there are too many of them and they're not the enthusiast sort.

Besides....their car is soding ugly because it's way too long and looks out of proportion, therefore making an embarrassment to wave at. And the interior....don't get me started.
