I use to live there for about 18 years. Last year I drove my 350 up to visit some of my friends. Unlike the US the highways pretty much have 0 police on patrol. (Along with where I live in Oakville). Everyone there does about 80+ on the highway(130 kmh) atleast. the speed limit is 100 kmh
I was doing about 110 mph, when all the sudden I saw a car picking up speed behind me. Now if you are unlucky enough to find a cop on the road in Ontario( pretty much impossible ) 50 kmh over the speed limit is a 10,000 fine and your car get impounded on site. I know I didn't pass him and I had enough space between us so there was no way for him to tell how fast I was going. I picked up the pace to the next exit, so that he wouldn't be able to say how fast I was going. I was atleast doing 145 I know it didn't hit the restriction.
I was really close to where I needed to get off about 1 exit before where it would be ideal. But I just needed to get off the highway as fast as possible. I got off and hooked it right at the light. Then started going normal speed. He didn't see me blow the red light since he was still a little ways back.
He did get right on my tail and followed me for about 15 mins all the way to my friends house. Three other cops joined in on following me, but without a solid reason they can't just pull you over. I made sure the entire rest of the way I did everything by the book. Full 2 second stops and all, when I finally parked the car and got out he yelled at me to come over to his car.
"So kid how fast were you going?" I answered with well the car tops at about 150 mph but I was only doing 65 sir. Winked and walked away.
Was the greatest feeling ever.

As a young man I once was radared at 145 in a 50 in a 1972 SuperSport. The police officer let me off with a 60 in a 50 ticket because I was very courteous and the fact that I actually stopped. I was one lucky SOB that day.
