PS: I also read about some people saying the noise was still there after replacing the ECU - I WOULDN"T BE SURPRISED that they were just "told" it has been replaced by the dealership and no work was actually done, which is why the noise is still there. How can we get real proof (conveniently, except for taking the car apart ourselves to match the model!) that it is actually changed.. maybe asked to be shown the part before the car goes in for the swap?
