It looks like he sprayed some anti-squeal gel or something on the back of the pad. It's definitely not something that came with the Brembo kit.

The FM1000 pad compound that comes in the 370Z caliper upgrade and the majority of our GT and GTR kits is relatively quiet. Sometimes people just want to take the extra preventative step.

For future reference:

The anti squeal gels/sprays only need to be applied to where the pistons make contact with the brake pads backing plate,...and on calipers that utilize abutment plates, just where the edges of the pad would make contact with the plates. The purpose is to act as a harmonic dampener between the pad and caliper.
