Default Oil Cooler - Lines Routing/Keeping Stock

Trying to determine which route is better, easier, or what-have-yah, what is the most common route people took (or planning on taking) when installing the oil lines? So far, it looks like we have 2 routes:
1. Modshack's way
2. Vipor's way -- Cutting a square hole through the radiator bracket.

Which way did installers take? Easier? Harder?

I just want to supplement the existing install-threads.

Thanks
