Going back to the dealer next week for a ride with the tech on some rough roads. Sounds like a shock bushing or coil spring damper missing. Told my wife if this continues, I'll just have to trade it in on a GT-R. She said " Whats a GT-R ?, no problem if it's quieter" Yeah, if only... Here's an update on the clank issue; Dlr. looked at the rear coil mount/bushing and concluded that everytime the wheel hits a depression in the road, the coil spring lifts off the bushing and then re-seats upon compression. He duplicated the noise by striking the bottom of the support with a rubber hammer causing the spring to jump. He held the spring with his hand and struck again, and the clank was no more! No rhyme nor reason to this. Any suggestions? I thought of liquid grease or WD40 but it will just wash out in time.
It ain't right. He may have duplicated the noise, but it just ain't right. Yell louder at him, make sure he gets the message that IT AIN'T RIGHT.
