Even the 45% looks dark because it's a white car. I went lighter than most people go because I didn't want to attract too much po-po attention. My Mazdaspeed3 had 20% all around and I was paying a $100 looking cool tax every other week with it until I went lighter on the front doors.
I'm really happy with the outcome. I think it's just the right amount of tint to look cool and give a little bit of privacy and sun protection without looking like I'm trouble.
I can do that on my own without any extra help!

I had 15% on my Eclipse and it was a pain to see out of at night, but it looked good :-P. I'm thinking 35% all around (legal limit in KY for side, behind driver is 20%). Dark enough to look sleek but still retain the classy appeal of the car.
