Cool I'm not having problems... is this a problem?

I've worked computer tech support since the late 80's and now i'm a Debugger for a CPU/GFX/Chipset R&D Corp, so seeing and fixing problems is like 2nd nature to me.

But on my 2010 370z Nismo, I'm not having problems. The car looks mean, or as my jealous buddy says, "It looks like what Darth Vader would drive." She sounds brutal. I rev the engine (up to 4500) at the lights and I see heads snapping. I get thumbs up from Mustang Drivers and even a Vette Owner! With VDC off, I take her to 7k rpms in 1st, then shift into 2nd and slam the gas and I can spin the tires. I can do this going into 3rd and even fourth now, and sometimes it scares the unholy krap out of me!

With 1983 miles on her, I'm not hearing any ticking, or high pitched wheezing. I've had my buddy rev the engine with the car all opened and all I hear is wicked gloriousness. I've hit the corners hard with half a tank of gas and haven't had any fuel or oil starvation. I've checked the oil every 100 miles since my 500 mile oil change and all is well, no leaks, no weirdness. I've not gotten oil temp above 230, yet, and 230 was after a night of high rpms downtown.

The vehicle handles better than I can drive her. I sometimes find other vehicles (ford F-250 trucks!) on my arse when i'm driving the curvy roads (2222, 1431) here in Austin, cause I'm scared to go faster. I'll speed up to get a bit in front of them, but still... I do ~ 20mph over the recommended speed limit of a curve, and she hugs the corners so well, I want to go faster, but I'm afraid i'm going to flip it! I'm so used to driving a 4WD SUV, that I just don't know how to drive my car, yet /sigh.

Sure she rides rough and I can hear the road, but I know it's designed that way. The radio is decent, but more and more, I only use the radio when i'm on the highway and need to drown out the drone. On the city streets, windows are down, radio is down and all I hear is the beauty that is my Nismo. I find myself driving no-where for no reason, just to drive. Just to hear the engine, to shift gears, to execute the perfect launch from a red light, to nail 0-60 in 5.0s, to see the fear on my passengers face as they're thrown back into the seat grasping at air for something to hold onto. I find myself grinning like the cheshire cat as I drive around town.

It's good to drive a limited edition vehicle, one that doesn't have many (if any) equals in its class. A Vehicle that you only see 2 or 3 of around in town (not counting regular Zs). People get out of my way. People WANT me to get in front of them, and now I understand why. I forget, sometimes, that i'm in a bad arse race car. I forget that I can do things in this vehicle that almost defy the laws of nature herself. I forget that while I get to see her all the time, they'll only see me again when i'm passing them next time.

I also bought this car with the term 'Chick Magnet' in mind. After my date this weekend, i'm fairly certain that one of the reasons it went so well because she loved my Nismo. And yes, this definitely worked in my favor . So, I now know the 'Chick Magnet' functionality of the vehicle is not broken either.

After reading all the 'bad things happening' posts on this forum, i have to ask... Is anyone else having an all around Awesome experience with their new 370Z? Also, what is your rule of thumb for taking a corner at the faster than posted speed? Don't worry, i won't hold you to your words, legally
