Yeah, you see using Philadelphia fans as any sort of barometer for what a team should or should not do is horrible.
I'm a fan myself but I can't stand most of them.
I don't think McNabb should have been around for much longer -- but trading him for a relatively deep draft pick? Really? The Redskins have needed a good QB for years now, we really don't need a mediocre draft pick. It was a terrible deal and they could've done much better, I think.
Honestly if we're talking Eagles football though, I really could care less after they showed their true colors last off season. Throwing Dawkins away and picking up Vick made me pretty livid.
edit: also K-lol'b isn't bad, per-se -- but he is an untested rookie who looked "meh" in his couple of starts. I don't think he will be bad, but good enough to lead a team to a Superbowl? Probably not.
...and seriously, McNabb was -never- the problem to begin with. Reid refuses to run for any long period of time and it murders the team. If we had a solid D this would be an ok strat (not really, but whatever) but we haven't had one in 3 years. ****. Is. Weak.
