It's like pulling teeth to get a quote from the recommended installer in my area. Another shop that's very good said they will install the equipment but I have to bring them all the parts.

I'm starting to consider doing it all myself.
Honestly, it was pretty easy. There are a lot of "how-to's" on here, which helped me know how to remove panels and what harnesses to buy. If you don't use the SWI-JACK, then you can do all of your wiring before you even take the console apart. Then it's just a matter of taking the console apart, pulling out the factory HU, connecting the harness and putting in the new HU. The worst time that I had was running the Bluetooth mic to the pillar, but as long as you take your time with that you can get it fed pretty easily.

I ran the BT mic to the pillar, iPod harness in the glovebox, GPS antennae to the rear hatch area, did some minor soldering for the SWI-JACK and that all took me less than 5 hours. Also included in that time was pulling all of the stuff out of the back end to add sound deadening.

I had originally put this HU in a 350z and the 370 is quite a lot easier.
