Yes there are more iphones out there then droids but verizon has more subscribers than at&t. Also everyone I know that has a Droid exceeds 1GB a month easily. I have never come in under 4GB a month and have peaked 9GB. That is a lot above what my iphone friends use, 500MB or less. 3 of the 9 people that I know that have droids exceed 3GB a month. My droid uses 500MB a month on just the background tasks such as syncing email. They are definitely not in the same usage league, droid is used a lot more. Ask your friends. If you don't know too many, ask people on forum and find out for yourself.
People that get droids are tech savy and live and breathe this stuff. Most iPhone users are people who are not tech savy enough to use a more complicated smart phone, and therefore aren't as enthusiastic about using it.
