Through general reading, I have read that the stock 5.0 will be less boost friendly than the outgoing 4.6. The compression ratio is the obvious issue. I'm sure Ford will have a dealer installed Whipple supercharger available for it. That should give the public a general idea of what Ford considers safe for those engines.

If FI is not your bag, I feel these engines would respond to standard bolt ons very well. Only time will tell.
