Anyone that owns a Kawi Ninja will know a thing called a "jumper mod" I seen it somewheres on ebay that you can buy the "kit" which is one piece that they sold for $2.00 and was proven to give 5hp on the bike. Its also a known mod on the forums as well which i did. All you do is buy a quick connector and connect 2 wires to each other and it tricks the ECU and gives you abit of hp increase and smoother rpm runs.
Harley has a similar trick. The jumper tricks the ECU into thinking the engine is running leaner than it actually is. Hence, apply more fuel so it runs richer. In the Harley world, the O2 sensors are narrow band and the cruise speeds are in closed loop with an AFR of 14.7:1. The jumper trick brings it down to 14.1:1 which is at the lower end of the narrow band O2 sensors signal voltage range. Every little bit helps when it comes to HP/TQ.
