You want to know a scary prospect? He might have even been able to buy that GT-R with his own money!

Seriously though, in the age of the internet, a lot is possible. Scary, I know. There was a guy (read: a**hole twit) in my dorm freshman year who made a killing on an internet game he made (I had heard of it but now I can't remember the name). He was paying his own tuition/housing/etc, had a new Mustang with some minor mods, and just put a preorder/down for the new 05 Mustang with no intention of selling the old (this was back in late 04). And boy did he make everyone know it when he walked into the room. It sucked that he was also in my advising group and I had to see him every week.

If I felt old/rich enough to even sit in a GT-R, let alone buy one, I sure as hell wouldn't have felt the need to street race like a moron in the dark to prove it.

It's like every time a dweeb in a civic with a hole in the exhaust passes my pony like a bat out of hell, I say to myself: 'go right ahead, I know I have 300 horses and 320 torques and don't feel the need to flaunt what I want people to think I have.'

Yeah, the above is pretty dramatized but you do have to learn to not give a crap when you drive a recognizable car with a pedigree. I'm curious if the 370Z would be a step up or down from what i deal with. Actually, I don't even know what a step up/down would be...
