Can you "catch" the scratch with your finger nail?

If your fingernail does catch it, its deep....odds are it won't be completely fixable and it will need a rotary buffer, and aggressive buffing compound (maybe even wet sanding) which should be left to a professional detailer/body shop. You can make it FAR worse!
