I've done this. I have two sets of wheels, one for track, the other DD. The "TPMS" light went on when I put the track set on. I have TPMS sensors in the track set but they are not recognized. Good question. Quoting myself above…………..maybe not necessary if the sensor locations remain consistent? The car will drive fine if the light comes on. You could always take it back or to the dealership for the reset.
