To answer your original question, buy a cheapy set of 17's or 18's ( I see plenty in the 20 lb range at a decent price at an ample width to properly fit a wide tire on tirerack) and enjoy your track days.
Sorry, I don't mean to be a ****. I just wanted to see what people are using for rims at the track. I should have been more clear. My goal is to find rims that I don't care about so I can trash it at the track without crying about it later.
