I wonder if the purists back in the day said the same thing when synchronized gears first showed up..? "Damn new fangled carriages, back in my day we had to come to a complete stop to shift into first!!"

I've driven stick shifts all my life, I even took my first driver's test in a 1986 Isuzu Trooper with a 5 speed, and I've driven vintage VW Beetles with unsynchronized gears. To me this is just another incremental step foward in the technology of an automobile.

The best part about it is that you can shut it off, and kick it old school, or drive with the help of the computer. To each their own just like Semtex says, personally I love it.
