Default Long road to new car

I joined the military less than 10 years ago and had to sell the only new vehicle I ever owned. It was and 1999 f150 flare side but I got orders to japan and couldn't take it. I fell in love with my friends r33 gtst. I saw the unvailing of the 350z and the GTR concept at the Tokyo Auto Show. Next I went to Guam followed by Korea. I didn't want to buy a new car while overseas. Just clunkers while over there. I got back to the states in 2007 and knew I was going to the desert late 2008. So still no new car. So sitting in the desert for a year I researched the crap out of cars with two rules from the wife. No convertable and it must have a back seat. Well that knocked out the Z so I leaned toward the G. So in Dec 09 my wife and me went to Infiniti for a G w/ 6mt but they couldn't help me. It didn't fell like the sales man wanted to help me. I wasn't dressed up so maybe he made an assumption I couldn't afford one. So let down and driving to our new home in El Paso a white Z pulled into the same gas station that we were at. My wife looked at it and asked why I didn't want that one. I told her that the Z was my first choose but it didn't have back seats. Well now I've been driving a black cherry 6mt touring w/ sport and nav since mid Jan. I love and want to thank two people that helped change my wife's mind. The unwilling sales man and the driver of the white Z.
