I've done this. I have two sets of wheels, one for track, the other DD. The "TPMS" light went on when I put the track set on. I have TPMS sensors in the track set but they are not recognized. I drove for about 3 days to wear the mold release off the track tires and when I put the DD set on after rolling about 1 mile the light went out.

My car did not drive or respond any differently when the TPMS light was on.....(really like the R-comps)
