The runs were conducted on a dynojet. Will post charts as soon as I upload them.
SAE corrected numbers were:
run 1(5th gear): 270.15 whp, 232.03 wtq
run 2(4th gear): 280.91 whp, 235.21 wtq
run 3(5th gear): 286.54 whp, 243.08 wtq
It was about 70 degrees in the dyno bay. When the dyno operator put the clutch in at the end of the first run, as the car was winding down, synchrorev attempted to rev match the rpms. Needless to say, this kind of scared me and the operator heh. The second and third runs were both done with synchrorev turned off. The car seemed to make more power with each run. Any reason for that? Runs 1 and 3 were both conducted in 5th gear, but they seem to have a bit of a variance power wise. The only difference was that synchrorev was turned off for run 3. Would synchrorev affect power delivery at all?
Also the ABS and skid light turned on while on the dyno, but turned off as soon as I pulled the car off. I'm assuming this is normal due to the wheel speed sensors seeing that the front wheels weren't moving?
Graph:
The distorted A/F at the end of run 1 happened when the operator put the clutch in at the end of fifth gear. He said the syncrorev tried to rev match, and just kept revving in neutral.
Just for reference, I looked at a couple of past runs from some other cars that they had saved. A stock 350z put down about 235whp, and an I/E/Tune 350z put down about 253 whp, albeit not on the same day as my runs.
