One of my videos will show you the area pretty well. I put a JL HD900/5 in that area and it fits well. It is about the size of a piece of paper. Epoxy some wood strips to the metal and then screw your amp into that for a concealed location. Getting to it after is kind of a pain just because I have my sub above it. I just pull the box out towards the rear bumper which exposes the foam block.
Once you get your amp settings to your liking you are done and you don't really have a need to get in there to make it an issue.
Personally the extra time is worth it just to make a theft that much more difficult
