Check out Schrute's thread. I believe he sold the Nismo wheels he had bought from Moto. I think the final 'bite' was from Ausralia where the wheels can't be had cheap.


"Asking price" for factory wheels is very hard. Why? They are too common. Granted, Nismo wheels are not as common as the wheels on the non-Nismo cars. However, at the end of the day, they are still factory wheels.

Most owners are also into 'personalizing' their cars; thus, they buy non-factory wheels further making factory wheels less in demand. What is my preferred wheels? Black wheels with red stripes and they must sit flushed to the wheel wells.

From a historical purposes, look at the trend of the Rays 19's. They used to be at $2,000.00; now, they can be had for $800.00.

Bottom line: Sell your wheels as soon as you can as the Nismo wheels are not that common 'yet'. The longer you wait, the more they become common and the lower price they become.

I love the Nismo wheels, and I would buy a set when the prices become attractive.
