The end of the rope...
Hello fellow Z enthusiasts,
So today I called my insurance to ask about filing a claim for damage that has accumulated over the past few months as I made my way across the country. I bought the Z used, it had a little bit of "character" in which I figured I could eventually be repaired further on down the line. Having had each incident occur at separate times, nothing could be combined as one claim. Integrity bit me in the a$$ again and I didn't have it in me to try lying my way through any of it. I spent the remainder of my night going through several of the paint color topics regarding the 40th and all the drama that comes along with matching and pricing. Nothing really useful. So....is there a reputable body shop within the Southern California region that can restore my baby back to her younger years that isn't going to cost me more than what it's worth? Thanks for reading. RZ14 |
separate incidents are separate claims... that's common sense... otherwise, we could all accumulate our "normal" wear and tear damage and get our cars painted/replaced... i really don't understand your complaint here... insurance is to cover you/others in the event of a loss... it's not "combination of losses" coverage
integrity never bites you... because what comes around goes around... dishonest people usually get what's coming to them my best to you |
Sorry bro. Wear and tear is out of your pocket. Insurance is for accidents and major events. Save up and get the paint job you want and the repairs done all at once. Good luck and best wishes!

So you tired to get your INS to fix rock chips and door dings? Like wheee said .Those are wear and tear, You'll have to pay for those. Door dings stop parking with everyone else and park on the MOON like most of us do and the rock chips. EH should have had the front wrapped before you left :/
