Hi Guys,

Reposting what I wrote in the introduction thread.

I've been looking at this forum for a few weeks and decided to join.

Some quick info about myself: I originally wanted a 350Z when I was younger, but my parents said NO!.... I ended up getting a 02 Pontiac Sunfire. HAHA!

fast forward a few years, I graduated from college, got a career and bought myself a brand new 2012 370Z Base Black 7AT. A little before Labor Day I was at the end of a pile up in traffic and my car was totaled.

I was a little unsure if I wanted another 370Z, but I kept coming back to the forum for info etc. Two days ago I purchased a pre-owned 40th anniversary edition. I'm glad I did. :happydance:

Thanks to the forum I found out my build info. I have #640, build date 1/26/10.

I'm attaching pictures of my old Z after the wreck and my 40th (haven't taken too many yet)

Welcome back and congrats on the 40th. The 40th gets a lot of attention as it is a beautiful car.

Good decision. You won't regret it. And it looks like the styrofoam in the bumper of the Z did it's job in the accident, safety first is what I always say.

What's the purpose of it? I wanted to remove it to have more airflow to the gen3's? Thank you

Nice, another 40th in TX!

Hell, around the CTX area ANY Z is a rarity.
