I hope you take this at flattery and not as some poser being unoriginal, because your hood, front fascia, and headlight mod is what I'm adding to my template to eventually get done. It's just perfect in my eyes.

Yea some are going to feel the same way you do. I felt that as long as I stayed with the color combo it still looks and feel like a 40th. Everyone that has seen it in person has given me props for keeping it look like a 40th. I brought it to znationals last year and people really really loved the car and acually respected me more for not butchering it up into something its not, Mad Mike on of the main american guys responsible for the creation of the 350 and 370z was there and he actually gave me a right hand drive 40th anniversary miniature car straight from japan for my efforts. I call that a win. All in all I definitely understand tho because I had to watch it being torn down and a couple times I really had to think about it before I did it. Thanks for the props tho man.

Gift from "MAD MIKE" when I was at znationals. Mad mike is one of the creators of the 350 z. This is straight from japan. I was commended for what iv done to the 40th and to my effort to keep it still looking and feeling like a 40th inside and out. |
