New Member/Owner

Purchased a 2010 40th Anniversay Edition in August 2012. Prior owner traded it in on a Volvo (couldn't drive it in the Eastern Washington winters). Only had 11,900 miles on it. Pefect condition and a great vehicle for a 63 year old who appreciates great engineering.

I understand that only 1,000 were built. I have no idea as to the what number it is. My Vin number is JN1AZ4EH5AM502242. So, if any one could let me know, I would be very happy. I did have a 2008 R32 with a number of 1835 that was stamped on the steering wheel. Very easy.

I like Forums. You can learn so much and keep in touch of upcoming events and vehicle changes/status. I plan on keeping this treasure in stock condition without any modifications. As an Ex Flight Engineer/Maintenance Chief I respect the work that was involved in design.

Thanks for letting me join your group

Why I got one.

It was the body style first, then the handling and next the performance. I looked at Infiniti, Corvettes, and Challengers before I made my choice. Besides, the price was right for me and up here in Eastern Washington you just don't see that many 370Zs. The body design reminds of something from the TRON movies. Many folks have a little differculty figuring out what it is. It just feels real good to sit in and drive. I'm extremely happy with the vehicle and plan to hold onto it. The other reason I got it and it maybe a good one, is that my Spouse like it, and she looks good in it.

I'm in Southern California and I have only seen 4 others in 8 months. Just not a common car the begin with. I did see another 40th last week which I thought I would never see.. 350z's are all over the place though.

If someone could provide information as to my build number it would be appreciated. JN1AZ4EH0AM501791 is the VIN. Picked it up last December and have not had a chance to do much research. Thanks, Peculiar.
