I've had Gun Metallic and its not even close to being as nice as the 40th paint.

Also a shot I found...you see the a part of the grey 370z on the right but you can clearly tell the difference in paint...

Doesn't matter it's the same paint job. Here's a 13', still doesn't look like a 40th.

The 40th is a really nice deep grey, with almost a slate blue or purple tone (at least to my eye).

Gotta say, it's a beautiful -- and more distinctive than I had thought -- color.

Its all about the pearls and micas in the paint, that is what truly makes our colour! I personally know 3 guys who paint cars and they all say the same thing about our colour. I love it especially coming out to the car on nice night with the sun setting the 40th almost has 4-5 different colours in it depending on how you change the lighting or scenery. I love the KAV paint :tup: (normally I am always a black or white car guy but the 40th I had to have after seeing it)

I had no idea there was a difference until I saw them side by side. The 40th is just beautiful!
