Possibly replacing the front bumper

My front bumper was recently scratched to the point it will need to be repaired by a body shop. I have considered replacing it for a different style bumper...possibly a Nismo. I know I will get flamed for this, but do you guys think it will ruin the look of my 40th? I personally love the style of the Nismo, but prefer the paint color and interior of the 40th. It would give me the best of both worlds. Any pictures of a 40th and a Nismo from the front to see if there is even a big difference?

You won't find any pics because the Sport to Nismo bumper conversion is insanely expensive. Apparently you need lots of other parts that are way overpriced such as the undertray and some other things. Go OEM or go aftermarket, Nismo is ridiculous.

And by overpriced I mean you are looking in the $1,500 range or so for the parts (from what I hear).

Wow, that's insane. Are there any aftermarket bumpers you suggest?

I'm going with the Amuse kit with mine. If you dont want a kit, I strongly suggest the Fujimura front bumper (not lip).

As much as I like the Amuse kit, it's been overdone, especially with the fakes out there. Personally, I would look into replacing the OEM bumper and adding an aftermarket lip. There are certainly a few other alternative out there.

Check out this site for a few ideas.370ZTUNE.com

The Nismo front bumper won't look right by itself.

Well eventually I would be converting the rest of the body to match the Nismo, pieces at a time. I will check out that site though. My 40th is going into storage from mid December until mid March, so I will wait until March to replace the bumper. Plenty of time to decide and get it done the right way.

Agreed... Amuse = overdone/copied.

Go oem/lip IMO.

Since my front bumper is being removed, mind as well install Stillen Gen 3 intake. Is there a Gen 4 in the works?

Not likely :P

The bumper is really easy to put on/take off, but might as well do it all at once. Just make sure you avoid known issues with the gen 3's during installation.

I will let the body shop install it along with the bumper, so any issues will be on them lol. I'm glad which intake to get is an easy decision...unlike the many different bumpers to go with.

Don't forget to get some non s-tune nismo wheels. Goes well with the nismo kit.
