On the inside of the car, I put the smaller plaque on the top of the first panel under the original factory badge. I like the greater spacing from the factory badge because the two are not the same thickness. Spaced further apart gives the illusion that they're both similar factory plaques...IMHO anyway.

Same places I installed mine. They look great!

Sorry for the crap pics, but an iPhone 3gs in low light doesn't quite cut it.

Looking good fellas! BTW for future customers, we are slightly altering the interior badge shown just above... Since so many are choosing to position the interior badge so close to the OEM badge, we are engraving this badge with just the build number and date information. Many have indicated they felt the logo data redundant here when placing the badge at this location.

You commented, We listened... Glad you are all so pleased! DP

Glad to hear that the Canadian owners are learning this information... You guys deserve to know what your rare car information is too! Great job to all involved in nailing NISSAN down for the info.

What is your Canadian version plaque going to look like?

LMBmikeZ 09-12-2011 07:20 PM

DarkPath was asking us(Canadian owners) to come to some sort of an agreement as to what it should say/look like. I was think very similar except to obviously change the #/1000 to #/120.

krzykanuk 09-12-2011 08:04 PM

I was thinking a maple leaf would look good on the plaque.

LMBmikeZ 09-12-2011 10:13 PM

It's possible. I figured it could be the same just change the numbers but the leaf could look good but depends on what it looks lol and where it is on the plaques......

DarkPath 09-19-2011 03:39 PM

Sunday night I was thinking about this as Krzykanuk contacted me Saturday... Independent of this suggestion, I thought a Maple leaf would look cool too... BUT - only those of us who lived near Canada during some point would know the significance here in the states... It is likely though that that would not be an issue...

Why don't some of you google search for some Maple leafs and post them up here to see if any catch the eye of the majority...

I forgot that most Americans can't name the two countries on their border. Actually, to be honest I don't really believe that to be true, but maybe it is.

Here are the two versions I came up with (so far the ones without leaves seem to be preferred by everyone but me):

Without maple leaves:

Thanks Adam.... That brings the number of people in the US who randomly attribute the significance of the maple leaf to be wholly identifiable to Canada - to Two...
