Plane flight is booked. Headed out to z1 for a stage two twin turbo setup yippppiiiii. Gonna be the longest two weeks of my life while waiting.

Are you staying out there the whole time while it is worked on?

Nope im just bringing it and coming back home. Im installing a stage 2 gtm twin turbo setup with test pipes. I already have clutch, flywheel greddy turbo tic exaust, oil cooler, and unorthodox pulley on the car already. plus the multitude of other stuff.

Sounds good. We expect Pics....

That's it...I'm selling my car. Too many damn forced induction 40ths now! Haha

**** im so broke I had to drive the car there myself and barely had money for gas good thing for 370z 29.4 mph at 79 mph gas milage. I told spencer and john at z1 to put some pics up and im 500 miles away so i dunno

still waiting for pics fellas hopefully soon

i called john at z1 yesterday and he said hes getting some. I cant wait till we get some too lol. they have a new facebook page. im guessing thats where he gonna post them. He told me they should do vids also but i dunno.

I'm curious to know how the car runs with our Canadian fuel...given that it will be tuned in the states with US fuel...

I'd think you'd get a better answer in the tuning or Canadian section than the 40th. Are there no good shops to do then install in CA? That way you wouldn't have to worry about it.

Haha just messing with ya. Z1 only posted one picture which is kinda crumby. It's a side shot in the air with the engine dropped out.

lol I know I asked them 100 times to post some pics and supposidly they are but im 6 hours away so im kinda powerless in that sector. It kinda makes me look like **** so im not to happy bout it.

im sure theyll come thru tho I know they busy trying to get things ready for zdays so im being patient since they doing it before then instead of waiting till after.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. Build pics are build pics...unless they have a great photographer who documents the build from start to finish (which I don't think they do). Just wait til the end product is in your driveway and you're boosting the hell out of it :driving:

i just got home from atl from picking it up im gonna put a graph up and z1 said there putting some vids up. we took a couple vids while I was there from inside and out the car. I got 3 feet of water in my front yard so I couldnt drive it all the way home. im gonna take a couple pics tonite

How did it feel on the drive home? Temps?

Man we had some problems with my ac not working when the weather got really hot. My oil temp stayed around 220 but under the hood was crazyyyyyyyyy hot. My suggestion buy a bigger radiator. As long as I was moving everything was good but once i stopped or idled around a parking lot the ac would blow hot air and the engine started running funny. thankfully i have a vented hood. I pulled the drip pans off and no problems so far. I havent seen hot hot weather without the drip pans tho so well see but im 100 percent sure thats gonna fix the under hood heat problem. My oil temp dropped 10 degrees after we removed the drip pan. Car is fast as heck. Of course before the turbo theres 20 cars a day trying to race me. Now its done nobody wants none lol. heating if the main problem with these things because the turbo piping is huge. All in all im very happy with it.

I'm curious how this has affected your gas mileage?

If you decide to turbo, gas mileage is no longer on your mind lol :tup:

Lol I know, I was just wondering if it only affected the gas mileage if you push it hard.

nope the gas mileage if you drive around town normally went up and it went up about 4 mpg on the hwy. if you drive it like you stole it you will run through a tank farelly quickly. You have plenty gas to go drive and have plenty enough fun and drive home.
