Need to compare to 40th's
Hey everyone,
I am here with a plight. I have a 40th Ann. 370z that, after an altercation, needed to have the rims repainted. When I went to pick the car up from the shop(for the 2nd time 'cause they botched it elsewhere), from across the lot I could tell that the rims were the wrong color. Of course, insurance is giving me hell about getting the job done correctly, and I may have to sue. Ideally, a comparison photo with another 40th 370z would put the insurance co. in their place. A tough task for obvious reasons. I am hoping that within the next week or two, that maybe one of you super awesome forum buddies might meet me for coffee or something so that I could get a nice photo of the obvious (to a 40th owner) difference in color. I live in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, but would travel a reasonable distance to get the shot. Thanks

I believe the wheels come painted graphite from RAYS Engineering. I'm pretty sure you will not be able to get the color code from them. So, the only way to get an exact match is to buy a new set. FB Nissan (forum vendor) is selling them for ~$2000 for all 4wheels. Good luck. I work in Irvine. If you want to drive down here on a weekday, then I can meet you at the Diamond Jamboree parking structure for pics. Let me know.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Regardless of my problem, a 40th meet would be fun.
Rui Z, pm pending.
