Default Clutch chatter

I get clutch chatter when pulling off at low rpm's. Also, At times when I come to a stop I will get a clank sound. Took it back to dealer and he explained in some tech terms that it is normal it has to do with the clutch design and horsepower of the vehicle. Has anyone had similar problems?

This does not sound normal. I would get a second opinion, maybe from a non-dealer shop.

Probably normal.

I'm on my second transmission and they were both noisy bitches. Lots of gear lash and clutch noise.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It's normal. You just need more gas and less clutch. I get the same sounds too unless I give more gas and less clutch.

100% normal. I had it in the G35 as well....

The manual transmission overall is very loud and noisy

Always happens to me on low RPMs and especially on 1st gear.
