Some pics I took today...

It's still very stock, but thought I'd share...

It stopped raining briefly, so I gave her a quick wash and took some pics. Haven't really taken real pics of the car for you guys yet, so might as well start.

I'm getting the car Osiris tuned on Saturday. Hopefully feel a bit more kick.

Here are some of the pics I took today. Enjoy, and please excuse my very very amateur photography skills.

Looks great!

The 40th is definitely my favorite 370. If I had to buy one all over again I'd go with the 40th in a heartbeat.

Thanks you're too humble. Deep inside you're probably cursing me out for being a sh*tty photographer and wasting a perfectly good camera lol...

Boost_lee 01-28-2011 12:23 AM

Nice pics! what kind of camera did you shoot with?

Nitrouz 01-28-2011 12:27 AM

The only negative is the vignetting you have, and the dumpsters... but as far as detail and lighting goes, just a tip keep it sunset or sunrise, or a cloudy day (Cloudy day is like a large diffused soft box, so if you dont want to show scratches or harsh details thats the time to do it at.)

Nitrouz 01-28-2011 01:32 AM

It was a cloudy day when I shot it. A lot easier to pick angles when it's cloudy.

Yeah it "Softens" the whole car up, makes the shadows less harsh. Try shooting about 30 minutes before sunset, do not use FLASH, set flash off set on tripod and watch some of those magic shots, expose for the car, instead of the background ambient lighting, and you will get killer shots, however if you want amazing shots use strobes + ambient :) hehe im getting a head of myself, Ill just come photograph it with my profoto's

Nitrouz 01-28-2011 01:37 AM

^you lost me there lol...

I'm gonna look into what you just typed, and try it on my own. I'm not anywhere close to using strobes yet, but I'll try to expose the car instead of background lighting.

Thanks man for always providing photography feedback!

wilsonp 01-28-2011 05:53 PM

I like the vignetting but I agree with the dumpsters - it is easy to focus on your subject and forget to see what is showing in the background.

I wouldn't sell yourself short - a nicer lens (15-85 :D ) might help you out some, but I think you have a great eye and took some very nice angles.

mick 01-28-2011 06:11 PM

nice. i noticed your exhaust pipes got blue rings, is that some kind of a mod?

wilsonp 01-28-2011 06:46 PM

I would guess that is the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust with Ti tips.

torpedo2k 01-28-2011 07:05 PM

Very nice. Super clean.

BrickyardZ 01-29-2011 08:48 AM

The car and your pictures looks great man. Can't beat the 40th ... I can't wait until the snow clears so I can drive mine without it looking like S#!& every time I take it out. Post more pics when you shoot again.
