40 anniversary ugly in pictures
Is it just me or do pictures really do no justice in the looks of the anniversary. I know a bunch of people that saw a pic of my car and didnt really like it but when I drove up with it they almost fell out they liked it so much.

The Z looks better in person no matter which model. I didn't like the Nismo until I saw one in person and man is that a cool looking car.

trust me I know what ya mean. I was gonna buy just a black 370 then when I saw them drive around with an anniversary It really didnt matter what it cost I was getting it .

The 40th is NOTORIOUSLY difficult to photograph and have the results come out anywhere near reality due largely to the way the paint picks up light. Different time of day, different color paint... You might have noticed something similar with the Monterrey Blue? The shot below was taken within 24 hrs of purchase by a friend here on the forum - BeachZTT. I posted a low res copy on here and AK370 sent me a message asking for the high res. Love the way the 40th picks up light. I let Heidi at Nissan know that their marketing on the 40th was sadly lacking. Anyway - Here is the original shot. http://i357.photobucket.com/albums/o...icoftheday.jpg |
I think my 40th looks great in pictures
It DOES change colors though depending on the light http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._5524606_n.jpg |
So I have frinds taking my ride with my 40th. and constantly asking about the color.
Oh, it looks like grey... well, sometimes is purple. hold on, is black at night. Ok, seriously, it is metallic grey, and yes, the color change depends on the others lights that are affected |
It is not a photogenic automobile. You have to photograph it with the best/correct lighting! In person they look great!
