Not gonna lie, it's strange, yet oddly encouraging to see a guy go from a Z to a GT-R and back to a Z. There's a lesson in there somewhere.

I'll post a comparison review in a week or so...maybe then everything would be more understandable.

congrats on the new Z! I am sure you will like it! Can't wait to see some pics and updates as you mod it out!
I have herd the Z is more fun to drive anyway! easier to put it sideways and more touchy in the throttle, GTR you almost feel safer and more in control. The Z gives you that edge of your seat experience where the tires can break lose at any slight over acceleration...... however that is IMO. I can only compare it because a good buddies twin has a GTR, my buddy has a Maserati GranTurismo, and there older brother has a M3 and they all agree that 370 is more fun(not faster) then the GTR........however the other twin can't drive stick (or he just doesn't, he only buys autos). |

Thanks Mike! It's noticably slower than the GTR (duh), but it's been a blast to drive so far.
And GODDAMN I love the 40th color combo...

OMFG I want one of these so badly. I was gonna get a touring/sport in Blue but, in fact, after seeing this thread, I basically NEED a 40th. Damn it this thread's just cost me a few k.

I had pretty much assumed they'd all sold already anyway. I was looking at getting a used one. More in my price range. I'm looking at one that's in Cali RIGHT NOW that's $31,495 with just over 8k miles. That's basically PERFECT. Has to be under 10k miles. I just hope something like that is available in March/April time when I'll have the cash. Can't frickin wait. |

A little off topic but I remember seeing some photos of a 40th with the Nismo bumper on…
It didn't have the plastic nismo vents molded in the bumper, it had just a silver mesh…I didn't really like the mesh there but I wanted to see how that bumper looked installed again… Does anyone know where that photo is at? I tried searching for about an hour but apparently I must suck...thx for the help
