It looks like this person has 2 coats of NiteShades and a few coats of clear. I did 3 coats of NightShades and it was way too dark for people to see during the daylight. Heres 3 coats of VHT Nightshades and 3 coats of clear on my 2004 Titan that I traded in for a black 2009 Z. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...e301/titan.jpg |
^^nice truck!
But I bet that was quite the change going from a titan to a Z |
thinking about doing this.... is it hard to disassemble the tail lights?
or i could do tints but looks different imo? why did somebody say you can't reverse it? what is that mean? thanks in advance. |

some products you can take off, however if you get them done good from a professional shop they actually bake it in on top of paint and clear coats....... these are not reverseable.... http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...h/IMG_0225.jpg the first pair I had done where done with a similar product as ones mentioned above, they can be reversed..... http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...h/023-Copy.jpg |
because its too dark? don't see the difference... ?
|
I would suggest the VHT Niteshades. They come out pretty darn good if you take your time and if it's too dark, or you simply don't like it then you can go back to stock. If you get them "baked" then you'd need to buy another set if you don't like them..... or perhaps the po po pull you over:eekdance:
