hey guys I am going to tint my 40th soon just wanted to see if people could put up a couple posts to show there tint and what % they are rocking on there 40th!

Just so I can figure out how dark I really want to go...........

same here...I just picked mine up yesterday and not sure what % will match up well

i know im new here but after having 4 seperate cars with 5% tint, I love it but you might not like driving at night if your not used to it and have to back alot. If I had to choose another tint it would be around 20% for a new car cause ive been stopped twice visiting the gf in GA for the 5% but no ticket ever issued when they found I was from Florida. Im very interrested in this thread as well.

Go for 20-25% tint and 5% for the rear quarter windows. I have 35% and it's too lite. Based on pictures the 35% looks good, but in person it isn't dark enough. Rememeber, for a dark car a lite tint doesn't look good. A white car could get away with a lighter tint still looking nice.

^^ true I always have dark cars so I always go darker but the 40th is my true baby! First time I ever bought a BRAND new car! I am never selling it!

On my altima i had 5% on the back and 20 or 25% on the front apparently tint shop said I could go no darker on my altima legal in Ontario Canada.

Front tints are "illegal" here and I didn't want the front and rear windows to be different shades, so i stuck with 35% all around. I've happy with it. If my sig pic isn't big enough, you can check out a few other angles in my album:

Can't go wrong with 20% Not to dark but not way to light

Im diggin the 5% all the way around but at the same time with getting 30 now and the gf might have to drive my car as we are getting married in 2 years id say she wont want to drive it. Cant get her to drive my current cars. Your right, 20 may be just right but i do love to stare at people on the highway and they cant see anything but perhaps a shadow:)

I went with 20% all around in the titanium finish by solarguard films, and I couldn't be happier looks great! I like it more then the tint I had on my old Altima which matched so nice then!

I personal love it I think it fits perfect and I can't even think of having it without the tint now that it's on!:driving::happydance:

Thumbs way up there, hows the rear view at night? That shouldnt get you hastled to much either if you do have some pissy cop whos looking for things. Clean looks!

Damn! That's how I wanted my car to look. How's the vision during night time driving? Does anyone know if our windshield has UV protection? I've noticed that since the top of the windshield is in line with the edge of our seats, a lot of times the sun is hitting our seats. I don't want my red seats to start looking like orange, but I also don't want to put up a windshield visor.
